UFC is back in business, with the renewal of ESPN’s UFC deal, the skull-crushing action from the Octagon is here to stay. Bone-crunching, edge of your seat and fast paced are just a few ways to describe Ultimate Fighting Championship as we continue to show their marquee events, including the main, numbered events with prelims and the highly anticipated bouts which often involves the defence of one of its much-coveted World Championship belts. For the UFC’s many UK fans, the only place to see these showdowns live is on ESPN’s screens.
New talent continues to pour into the sport at a rapid pace and these athletes are asserting their dominance the only way they know how…..With their fists! This always compelling and occasionally brutal form of contact sport suddenly grew to become a real rival to the likes of boxing and wrestling. UFC’s British involvement does not simply extend to viewers. How long might we have to wait until the UK produces a UFC fighting Champion?
The answer to that particular question is surely worth the investment of an occasional late night, as the top UFC action usually arrives live onto ESPN screens from America during the wee small hours. Every numbered Ultimate Fighting Championship bout during 2012 /13 will be broadcast exclusively live; if you haven’t encountered the UFC beforehand, then, trust us – it has to be seen to be believed.
