You can now vote for the Budweiser Man of the Match! In an historic move, YOU will now decide which player is awarded the official Man of the Match for every match of The FA Cup with Budweiser.

The Budweiser Man of the Match award will be voted for by football fans across the UK – a role usually reserved for broadcast commentating teams. The British public will get to choose the top player from every single match in the competition – from the First Round proper on Saturday 12th November all the way through to the final next May.

With football fans now having a platform for their opinions to be heard (and judged), they just need to head over to the Budweiser UK Facebook page and select the Man of the Match panel on the The FA Cup with Budweiser Hub during matches. Their individual player vote from their selected game will then count towards the final outcome. And if football fans are not near their computer they can still vote using the free official Budweiser Man of the Match app available for iPhones and on Android.
Budweiser is bringing the competition closer to you the fans and celebrating all that is grass roots football by letting the fans’ voices be heard, whether it is Sheffield Utd vs Oxford Utd, the minnows of Salisbury City v Arlesey Town or a mouth-watering top of the table clash. Their decisions will also see the winning player celebrate with a unique prize – a magnum of beer to celebrate with his teammates.

HOW TO VOTE:
To vote for your man of the match either go to www.facebook.com/BudweiserUK and click on the Man of the Match panel on the Budweiser FA Cup hub or download the free app for your Smartphone from iTunes or Android Market (please note, both facebook and mobile apps will be available from Friday 11th November 2011).
To vote, select the match that you are watching, then select the team which your proposed man of the match plays for. Finally, select the player you would like to vote for and click on ‘Vote Now’ to vote for your chosen man of the match.
The voting period in each FA Cup match commences at the beginning of the second half and expires at the end of the 86th minute of each FA Cup match.
Individuals may only vote for one man of the match per Voting Period. An individual may only vote for one man of the match across all matches played during any one Voting Period.
The criteria for voting should be based on the player who shows the most skill and has the best performance out of the players on the pitch during the FA Cup match.
In the event that voters fail to comply with these criteria, the promoter has the right to for Octagon Worldwide Ltd to exercise an overriding vote
The fan vote will comprise 100% of the total vote for man of the match in respect of both televised and non-televised FA Cup matches. The man of the match will be announced in the stadium where the FA Cup Match is being played (as well as on television if the FA Cup match is televised) after the 87th minute.
Additionally to voting for the Budweiser Man of the Match, football fans are able to browse forthcoming FA Cup fixtures, receive real time match stats during LIVE games, view the official Budweiser Man of the Match result at the end of the game and have a chance to enter and win a pair of match tickets for each of the next round of games through both the facebook page and mobile app.
