International Friendlies – Live On ESPN

Tuesday 16th October 2012 – Brazil v Japan – Live @ 1:10pm AND Wednesday 14th November 2012 – Colombia v Brazil – Live @ 12:30am ESPN will broadcast live and exclusive coverage of two International matches featuring Brazil, starting tomorrow as they take on Japan in Wroclaw, Poland. Japan will come into the game buoyed by a 1-0 defeat of France last week, courtesy of a late goal from Man United star Shinji Kagawa. Meanwhile Brazil demolished Iraq 6-0, with new Chelsea wonderkid Oscar netting twice. The game will be the first of three live international fixtures on ESPN on Tuesday, with the clash followed by the second leg of England U21s’ UEFA European Championship 2013 qualifying playoff against Serbia U21s, and Scotland’s visit to Belgium in World Cup Qualifying Group A.

Next month ESPN will bring viewers another game featuring the hosts of the 2014 World Cup, when they take on Colombia in New Jersey. Brazil are set to come up against one of the top strikers in the world, Radamel Falcao, whose two goals earned Colombia their most recent World Cup Qualifying win, against Paraguay. The test should be a welcome one, as Brazil strive to maintain a competitive edge ahead of the World Cup in front of their home fans.
