Sports on ESPN

As more and more major motor manufacturers are tempted to pull out of mega-bucks Formula 1, many are instead returning to their spiritual home of sports-car racing. The world’s leading racing circuits – up to and including Silverstone – are where Lamborghini and Maserati now meet Ford, Nissan and Aston-Martin. Mix that list of entries together with a selection of ex-Grand Prix drivers behind the wheel (and not to mention cars which can actually overtake each other…), and you may well end up with the most entertaining motor-sport on television.
These 200mph machines’ bone-shaking on-board cameras really offer viewers a driver’s-eye-view on just what it’s like to attempt to control one of these ultra-powerful beasts. Plus, the lusty sound of the sports-cars’ engine noise make it well worth turning up the volume for!
