ESPN will broadcast two live and exclusive Liverpool games next week, including their first competitive match at Anfield this season. Brendan Rodgers’ men take on Belarusian outfit FC Gomel in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League Third Qualifying Round. New manager Rodgers will be keen for a good start in front of the home faithful, as the club look to progress to the play-offs for the group stage. Their opponents FC Gomel finished third in the Belarusian Premier League and won their domestic cup last season. Then, on Sunday 12 August, ESPN will bring viewers Liverpool’s final pre-season friendly when they face German side Bayer Leverkusen at home. Should Liverpool progress to the UEFA Europa League playoff round, ESPN will have live and exclusive coverage of the club’s home leg, on either Thursday 23rd August or Thursday 30th August.
